Upcoming YES 3Album Tour
Yes Reveals Three-Album Show
The set list for the upcoming Yes tour will certainly delight fans. The progressive rock band will play three albums from start-to-finish each evening – “The Yes Album,” “Close To The Edge” and “Going For The One.” Yes: Steve Howe, Geoff Downes, Jon Davison, Alan White and Chris Squire. Each album represents a milestone for the band. Released in 1971, The Yes Album was the band’s third studio release. With songs such as “Your Move/I’ve Seen All Good People,” “Starship Trooper,” and “Yours Is No Disgrace,” the album fueled the band’s breakthrough in the U.S. Released in 1973, Close To The Edge took progressive rock to new heights as the band cemented its reputation for sonic complexity. On one side you have Yes’ master stroke, the incredibly structured title track while side two is home to “And You And I” and “Siberian Khatru.” Going For The One marked the band’s return to shorter songs, which, for Yes, meant most tracks on the album clocked in under 10 minutes. Along with the rocking title track, the band shined on numbers such as “Turn Of The Century,” “Parallels” and “Wonderous Stories.” For fans wanting something a bit longer, the band also included the 15-minute piece “Awaken.” The band’s lineup has evolved somewhat since the albums were mastered in the 1970s. Today’s Yes includes co-founding member Chris Squire along with guitarist Steve Howe, drummer Alan White and Asia keyboardist Geoff Downes. New to the band is vocalist Jon Davison, who joined earlier this year. “I believe the only song not performed in concert is ‘A Venture’ from The Yes Album,” Squire said. “And probably the most tricky of all the songs planned for this set is ‘Turn Of The Century’ from Going For The One.” The schedule comes with a caveat – due to time constraints, casino shows will feature only two albums – The Yes Album and Close To The Edge. March 1 – West Wendover, Nev., Peppermill Concert Hall March 3 – Seattle, Wash., Moore Theatre March 5 – San Francisco, Calif., Warfield Theatre March 6 – Los Angeles, Calif., Orpheum Theatre March 8 – Temecula, Calif., Pechanga Resort & Casino March 9 – Reno, Nev., Silver Legacy Resort Casino March 12 – Aspen, Colo., Belly Up Aspen March 14 – Omaha, Neb., Holland Performing Arts Center March 16 – Hammond, Ind., The Venue At Horseshoe Casino March 17 – Louisville, Ky., The Louisville Palace Theatre March 18 – Kansas City, Mo., The Midland By AMC March 20 – Austin, Texas, Austin City Limits Live at The Moody Theater March 21 – Grand Prairie, Texas, Verizon Theatre At Grand Prairie March 22 – Biloxi, Miss., Hard Rock Live Biloxi March 24 – Hollywood, Fla., Seminole Hard Rock Live March 30 – Melbourne, Fla., King Center For Performing Arts April 2 – Clearwater, Fla., Ruth Eckerd Hall April 5 – Mashantucket, Conn., MGM Grand At Foxwoods April 6 – Hampton Beach, N.H., Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom April 7 – Bethlehem, Pa., Sands Bethlehem Event Center April 9 – New York, N.Y., Beacon Theatre April 11 – Toronto, Ontario, Massey Hall April 12 – Detroit, Mich., Fox Theatre Most onsales begin this week. Re: Upcoming YES 3Album Tour
I'm already on the tix for Biloxi. Hard Rock Live = all three albums! Prices for Biloxi are $74.15 for the best ones. Not counting my chickens yet, but I'm super excited. Perfect setlist, perfect night for me (Friday), and it'll be my first Yes show (The Deep South is too sparsely populated to get bigger bands; I had to go to Atlanta to see U2).

Re: Upcoming YES 3Album Tour
I'm hoping to get just left of center, where I can see Steve well. Chris I'm not worrying about because he roams around anyway.
