The Fusion Reactor #154 - Different Takes On A Theme

I remember once reading a bunch of different authors' short stories all based on the same photograph. The stories were all very different but had a few things that sort of tied them together because of the same starting point. So I was thinking... What about songs? I don't know that artists write songs based on a picture or anything like that, but how about song titles? This show has a bunch of songs with the same titles but the songs are very different.

That is really weird. I was going to do the same thing in a month or so....was thinking about the ELP song "Hallowed Be Thy Name" (on the show this week) and then the Iron Maiden song of the same name. I thought that would be a fun thing to do.

But I'm glad you did it....there's some real gems on there. Gentle Giant has an Underground on Civilian...and lots of Revelations! (Mother Earth lol)

This is an idea I thought of doing way back on BrainRock but never did. Nice show. You've got "Providence" by KC and GYBE! ("That's All" by Genesis just came on the speakers at my wi-fi spot). If you branch outside prog there's so many. I keep running into them on my puter's playlists. "Blackbird" by Beatles and Third Day...
