Re: Survival bag
I have to agree with Suite for the Everyman. At nearly 50 mins, Mei gets to be tedious.

Karn Evil 9 (live at least) features one of Greg Lake's best leads, before the break into "welcome back my friends" I think Gazric's point was one song for EACH band (yikes!), so let's hear some suggestions from lesser known bands. Djam Karet - The Sky Opens Twice - contains the ripping intro, then segues (admittedly not so gracefully) into the more ambient side of their music |

Re: Survival bag
Okay, Jon Anderson will be represented several times - Yes, ABWH, & work with Vangelis.
However, he has to have a solo effort as well. That has to be: Olias of Sunhillow But which cut? ![]() Moon Ra/ Chord / Song of Sea or QoQuaQ En Transic / Naon / Transic To or Ocean Song / Meeting I'd have to sneak the whole thing on myself. ![]()
