The Fusion Reactor #93 - Not So Well Known

This week I'm focusing on fusion artists (or at least fusionesque artists) that aren't that well known in the fusion world. Everyone's heard of Mahavishnu Orchestra and Return To Forever, right? They're great and worthy of recognition, but that doesn't mean there aren't a bunch of other fantastic fusion bands that you should hear. This show may introduce you to up to 14 of them, plus one classic free jazz artist that isn't as well known as some of his peers.

Playlist to come soon.

Well that's throwing down the old gauntlet! We'll see!

Is that where I left that gauntlet? Thanks for picking it up for me. Spinal Tap keeps calling me about using it for their next album.

Seriously though, a lot of these are already on the Moon - so you might have heard them - but they're just not exactly household names. And others might be new to you.

Given my wife's musical preferences, I doubt anything we listen to is a household name

I guess it's about time to let you all in on a little secret...

... I posted the setlist at http://fusionreactor.blogspot.com/20...y-unknown.html

I would say "it's about time" but no, I actually did it yesterday morning, well in advance of the show. It's my post here that's late.
