July Poll!
Time for another Moonster vote for DRH Album Feature. The options this week are all from the 1980s.
Buggles - Adventures in Modern Recording From 1981, this is the second and last Buggles album, released after the dissolution of the Drama line-up of Yes, before Downes joined Asia. Nice prog-related obscurity. Midnight Oil - Diesel and Dust From 1987, this is the biggest album by the best Australian band (IMO). Boston - Third Stage From 1986, this third Boston album had one huge hit, but the album as a whole is an under-known gem. It's still Boston's most "futuristic" sounding work. Funkadelic - The Electric Spanking of War Babies From 1981, this is the last true Parliament Funkadelic album - the end of an era. After this, Parliament fragmented in a dozen different projects. This is the only P-Funk album to feature Sly Stone.
