John Abercrombie to me was one of those few guitar players with a refreshing and inspiring new approach in electric guitar in jazz and beyond,,, one of those moments when you hear something new and showing you a new direction.
Certainly was one of my introduction to ECM library as well ,,early 80s
Here in moon there is a wonderful masterpiece, which back then it made a huge impact in my musical experience,,,, I listen it today and it makes the same effect on me.
Sad loss.
