New super group "NEO" to make RoSfest appearance as Friday night headliner.

Hello Aural Moon friends new super group "NEO" to make RoSfest appearance as Friday night headliner.

PPRC music and RoSfest is pleased to announce new super group "NEO" as Friday night headliner. The band is comprised of Andy Edwards (IQ/Robert Plant), John Jowitt(IQ/Arena/Jadis/John Wetton Band), Clive Nolan(Arena/Pendragon/Shadowland/Nolan-Wakeman)and Mark Westwood (Martin Orford Band) The aim for the band is to combine their talents with different guest artists in order to reach more ears with the music of British progressive rock than each band might otherwise be able to do individually. This will make each performance a truly unique event.

The band will be making its debut American appearance at the Rites of Spring Festival in Phoenixville PA on April 28th. As well as music by IQ, Arena and Clive Nolan's solo career, the band will be joined by special guest Nick Barrett to perform material by Pendragon, Alan Reed of Pallas and Peter Banks to perform songs by Yes. A further guest artist is likely to be announced shortly.

Set your sights at next year's RoSfest and catch the inaugural performance of this premium band. Mark your calendar April 28th, 2006. Head on over to RoSfest on October 29th and score yourself some Gold seat tickets.

scrooge

Yes John is the "house performer"...and a great musician.

But I'm not psyched for this. I'd rather see a young up and coming band. It sort of leaves me cold. But at least it's on Friday.

LOL rick.

Yes, and I found this an interesting statement in their blurb...

Wojtek knows cannot escape from himself.

He is an excellent drummer, imho.

That is an all-time weird one isn't it?

How about "Wojtek's hogs cannot escape from Keithie?"

Oink!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe not the hogs but baker's daughters every time I visit them ask me about Keithie and when again they will be able to give him rolls.

Wojtek Szadkowski is the leader of Satellite. He was also a leader of Collage. Actually I don't understand why Satellite hasn't been called Collage, almost the same line-up.

The Bakers Daughters have been expanding their offerings... Last I heard Keithie was into "bag-ettes".

Rick, you changed your avatar. It's all tooooooooo confusing.

Confusing? How so. I can explain if you like (it's Salem Hill's new one).

Confusing is listening to Vangelis' 666 (Aphrodite's Child CD). Full of bad singing and hippie music, with a 5 minute triple orgasm on "side 3". Oh yeah.

Woj - maybe Collage is being sued or something..lol

Love how this thread got mangled...I am sorry.
